Multimedia: CDs and DVDs

ISKCON Toronto's Prabhupada library has most of the CD's and DVD's offered by Iskcon Television (ITV). Please note that these DVD-Rs are in a format incompatible with some older or low-end set-top DVD players. Check you owner's manual to be sure your player will allow DVD-Rs. Most computers with DVD drives and DVD software can play these disks. Many of these classic Indian movies are digitalized from their original film so they may contain slight audio/video flaws that software could not correct. The original films in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, have been subtitled by ITV. Some films have been edited for content, time limit, or screen size.

The library does not carry VHS and VHS-PAL because of changing demands and changing technology. Most of them can be found at the ISKCON Toronto library and can also be purchased from the Temple Boutique.
